Island View Motel

The rooms were very clean when we arrived, and the staff were extremely friendly. The Island View Motel is a great spot for enjoying Old Orchard Beach. It's a short walk to the beach, and the pool was handy when our young daughters needed a break from the sand. We'll definitely stay again.

Josh and his team gave us hospitality that was second to none, and I'm so grateful. I came with my family and we rented three rooms. Everything was spotless, the beach was right in view, and all the amenities worked wonderfully. I'm coming back next year for a week this time. Highly recommend!

The kitchenette is my favorite part. I buy steamers and lobster from the local pounds, cook them in the room, and sip chilled wine. The pool is pristine and refreshing, and the white sand beach is just across the road, great for swimming and sunbathing. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I try to visit Maine every year and have stayed in many coastal places, from Bar Harbor down to Old Orchard Beach. This is my favorite. The room is comfortable and always clean. Some things may be a little worn around the edges, but they're well cared for. The bathroom is a decent size, with a full tub and shower and plenty of counter space. The beds are comfortable too.

We had a wonderful stay, and the staff were friendly and made things easier. The beach wasn't too far away, which made us happy. The room was good overall, but ours needs some repairs. The door rubs badly against the floor and can't open fully. There's a dip in part of the roof, and a rug in the living room appears to have been cut down and left there, with the cut lines visible. Those were minor issues for us.
