Ocean Walk Hotel

The owners were so kind, and it felt like a nice family-run business. Our room was clean, spacious, and updated, especially compared with other places in the area. We came for the beachfront experience and got it, with the view, scent, and sound of the ocean. It was our first stay, and we'll definitely come back.

We were there for the 4th of July weekend and loved the vibe, especially getting to see fireworks in every direction. The owners and employees were the nicest we've experienced. This was our second year, and we've already booked for next year. Can't wait to return.

I've stayed here a lot and usually don't have problems, but this trip had one thing after another. The fridge still had food from the previous guest, and it was barely shut, so some butter melted. I told the staff; it was cool enough that nothing went bad, but it wasn't really cold. The sink barely ran, making dishes almost impossible. Halfway through, the TV stopped working, and I had to get a new cord from the desk. Nobody checked whether it worked after I reported it. The AC sounded like a plane taking off, so we left it off at night and sweated. The screen door kept slipping off its track and was hard to put back. I usually stay here, but I'm not sure I'll come next year.

The room was great, and being so close to the beach was handy. They also have chaise lounges to use on the beach, with cabanas available to rent by the day. My one gripe was the uncomfortable Murphy bed. I'm not sure if that was part of the reason.
