Sea Drift Motel

The kitchenette rooms are really spacious, and the location and service are great. My family has been coming here for years, and my kids absolutely love it. Missy is the sweetest, kindest woman you’ll meet. She takes real pride in the motel and takes amazing care of her guests. We look forward to returning every year, and can’t wait for our next visit in July. Highly recommend it, 10/10!

The rooms could use some updating, so I’d give the Sea Drift 4 out of 5. We stayed for a long weekend in summer 2024 and had a great time. The pool was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach, with the pier about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. The train passes right behind the hotel, so light sleepers should know about that. We knew before arriving, though, and it didn’t affect my review.

Missy, the owner, was so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She even managed to accommodate a couple of requests she didn’t have to. The beach was a little less crowded since it’s just off the strip, and the location is close to the action while still being quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay and only wish we’d had longer. Thanks, Missy! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The beach is just across the street, and the pier is about a ten-minute walk away. It was nice being a little removed from the noise. Missy was an excellent host. We came during a slower week and got a king bedroom upgrade at no extra charge. Since nobody was renting our room that night, she also let us stay in it as long as we wanted on checkout day. Housekeeping was very friendly and did a thorough job turning over the rooms. We didn’t get to try the heated salt pool, but we’ll check it out next time. We’ll be back next summer!
