Ang, the manager, is simply amazing and always makes my family feel welcome. The rooms are cozy, clean, and nice, and they stay on top of anything that goes wrong. We'd definitely recommend staying here when vacationing in oob Maine. 10/10 🤘☮️🤘 Denise & Marvin

We paid $500 for two nights, but only stayed one and left a day early. There was plenty of vacancy, yet we didn't get a refund. The location is great, just a five-minute walk from the beach, and the manager was nice aside from that. The room was horrible. The beds were awful, the bathroom filthy, and the sink got in the way of your legs at the toilet, making it practically unusable. The shower was moldy because it wasn't made with waterproof materials. Batteries had been taken out of the fire alarms. NOT UP TO CODE. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. Read reviews before buying.

I've been coming to Beach Motel & Suites since it was called “The Yellow Giraffe,” and I've stayed in just about every room, so I knew what to expect. The rooms look like they do online, despite what some other reviews say. We had room 23. The room smelled amazing when we checked in, and the owner was great, letting us arrive two hours early and leave the car in the lot until 3 on checkout day, which saved us parking money. We brought our 60 lb dog for around $40 a night. There's a dog park close by, and surprisingly, we had no trouble taking the dog anywhere. It's pet friendly and has some of the best prices around. The beach is a five-minute walk away, and the dog park is very close. The things we didn't like were the outlet locations, having nowhere to sit except the bed, and no lamp in the room. The shower's “hot” water was very, very hot and temperamental. On the first night, screaming, running, and doors slamming woke us up, but that was the only inconvenience. We'll be back!

Filthy, cramped, and nothing like the description. The online pictures weren't even of the place I stayed. Worst room I've ever had. Gross. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
