The Rebekah Inn

The ocean-facing porch was lovely, and restaurants and shops were an easy walk away. Our room had a nice amount of space, including a sitting area, and the staff were helpful and accommodating.

The room felt more homey than the photo and had a sink, working AC, and TV. It was clean, and the inn is only about a 30-second walk from the beach. I was a little uneasy about sharing a bathroom because we were on the second floor, but they were cleaned hourly and felt as clean as home, so it was worth it. The staff were welcoming, polite, and friendly. In the morning there was fresh fruit, cut danishes, and lots of Keurig coffee choices. Fair warning, if you're Canadian, you'll hear plenty of French Canadians around here. Wow, wow, wow, this is definitely going to be a tradition for us.

We got in pretty late, and the staff still welcomed us and worked with us. They were friendly and clearly hardworking. The little inn was cute, quiet, and clean, just right for a relaxing mini getaway. Downtown was an easy walk and the beach was only a stone's throw away. We'd absolutely stay again. Thanks to the staff for making it such a great visit!

I’ve already returned twice and hope to visit The Rebekah Inn again. The porch is a lovely place to sit by the beach, just a few steps away, and the beach was quiet and clean. The inn dates back to 1919 and has a nostalgic feel, with Saco Bay and Old Orchard Beach making the setting especially beautiful. Housekeeping keeps the place sparkling, and there are handy touches like a coffee and tea bar open all day and night, full-size toiletries in the restrooms, and genuinely friendly staff. Restaurants and cafes are walkable, and Portland is less than half an hour away. A Maine trip just doesn’t feel complete without a stay here.
