Quality Inn Old Saybrook - Westbrook

Lei Washington was amazing. I needed adjoining rooms on the first floor, and she upgraded them to make that work. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was served buffet style every morning. The pool was clean and heated. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks again, Lei, I can’t thank you enough.

Lei Washington, the front office manager, was great to work with and made our October trip for a wedding really enjoyable. The rooms were nice and very clean.

It was quiet during my stay, and checkout was at 11. I stayed almost until then without anyone knocking or making noise. The room had a mini fridge and a small hot water tea maker, and it’s a short drive from the main strip. The front desk guy was kind when I checked in close to 1 a.m. The room was a decent size and clean, though clearly dated. The bathroom was clean but small. The shower had good temperature and pressure, but the tub had something stuck to the bottom that looked like remnants of an old anti-slip mat. The TV was old and blurry, with no more than 10 channels and inconsistent volume. One socket near the bed had something broken in the ground. No big complaints, just a little dated.

I had no problems with the room, parking, or location, and Katherine at the front desk was lovely and made check-in easy. Jennifer, another front desk attendant, was extremely rude and unpleasant, and went out of her way to make my experience terrible. It’s a shame someone so ignorant and foolish works there. Quality inn, do better.
