After the first day, the rest of our week went smoothly. The front desk moved us to another room when we raised cleanliness issues, and the staff handled everything right away. Everyone was kind, helpful, and amazing. The hotel is a little older, but they’re actively updating and repairing rooms, and that takes time. I’d stay here again. The owners really need to retrain housekeeping to clean rooms properly, rather than just change the sheets and towels.

Rivera and Larry were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, though it could use a refresh. All the appliances worked, and I used them while cooking every day. Getting here from HWY 78 is easy, and it’s a good option for a longer stay.

The staff were decent, though not perfect, but the room had several problems. The toilet was already clogged and wouldn’t flush. In the two-bedroom room, the coffee maker was filthy, with a bone-dry used coffee packet inside and crusted residue on the machine. I also noticed rust on the nightstand, as during my last stay, and disgusting residue on the locked dispensers. They tried to charge me for the room again after immediately giving it to somebody else, even though I’d used my Reward Points for the stay.

The people who work here are the nicest I’ve met at any hotel, and I travel nine months a year. When the fridge had a problem, they brought me a new one right away. The rooms were very clean, and I liked the location just outside the city. It felt like home, and I had a great stay.

It’s a very safe place to stay, and everything else was good. The only downside was that the elevator had broken before I checked in.
