La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Olive Branch

During the January 2026 storm, our home had no power for four days, and this hotel gave my family what we needed then. The room was clean, and the staff were excellent. Thanks especially to Joy. I rated it four stars because the firm mattress and pillows didn't make for the most comfortable sleep. Pets are allowed, so bring one if you have one, but without one, expect some barking.

The rooms were top notch and very clean, and every floor smelled great. It's also close to the highway. The two young African American women at the front desk were wonderful, helpful, and nice. Breakfast was free and mostly good, but those sausage links were greasy, tasted bad, and weren't very appetizing. I'd rather see bacon or ham. Aside from the sausage, I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

The people here made this first stay feel special. Maya and Joy were kind, genuine, and helpful from beginning to end, and went out of their way for us. I left feeling looked after and grateful because of them. The hotel itself was lovely too, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. If Maya or Joy greet you, you'll understand what I mean.

The breakfast was delicious, and my husband liked it even though hotel breakfasts usually aren't his thing. We had plenty of parking and felt safe here. Our room was beautiful and just right for our small family, and we had a great stay from arrival through departure. One thing to watch: the tub was slippery. My one-year-old slipped while seated and hit his head, so non-slip mats would help. I'd absolutely stay here again.
