They only clean the rooms every two weeks, and the trash isn't taken out. There's no buffet, the parking lot is full of potholes, and neither the elevator nor the reception doors work. Worst hotel in town.

Our first-floor room had a bright light coming through by the window, and the rooms smelled moldy. There wasn't any coffee ready at breakfast. The towels were so thin I couldn't wrap one around myself. The exit door was [unclear in source]. It was a major safety concern.

We found a quiet, secluded sitting area out back, with plenty of tables and seats. The staff were welcoming and kind on every shift, and our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and stocked with fresh towels and washcloths, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, simple, and well stocked. The hotel is a short trip from downtown Memphis, with shops, gas stations, and plenty of places to eat nearby.

The front desk man was hospitable and helpful, including bringing us clean sheets and apologizing when we showed him the dirty ones. We needed a place to rest while passing through, but the room was muggy and sticky, with a mildew smell that remained even after turning on the AC and made it hard to breathe. The headboards and walls looked dirty. One bed had a fingernail and stains in the sheets; the other looked cleaner, but we asked for fresh sheets because we didn't trust they were clean. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to friends or family. You get what you pay for.
