The rooms are in a separate building that's been there for many years. They're small and simple, but clean, comfortable, and equipped with what you need. They look updated since my visit a couple of years ago, and the price is very reasonable for accommodations that aren't lavish. The wedding and conference facilities look fantastic, and the golf course was in great shape. Its greens were some of the best and most challenging I've played, so I enjoyed it enough to ask for an afternoon replay. At the main lodge, the restaurant, bar, golf pro shop, and coffee shop are all fantastic. The restaurant food is great and seems to draw plenty of local residents, which says something. They were updating these places last time I visited, and I think the work turned out great, though it's still underway. The sweet lady who runs the coffee shop gave me a sneak peek at another bar and restaurant being built. It looks like a cool place to gather. I think Rayburn Country Resort is a wonderful place to visit, and I'll definitely be back next year!

Everything is thoughtfully designed, and my hat's off to everyone involved. There's a pool, tennis, golf, swimming, and great food, plus the staff are great. One of the coolest spots to hang out and meet people. Wish we'd found it sooner. Highly recommend!

We stopped in at Sam Ray's for the breakfast buffet. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the bacon was crispy just the way I like it. The price was reasonable, and I enjoyed the visit.

The food was good, but the service was slower than we expected with the order, drink refills, and getting the food out. The restaurant wasn't crowded. We'll give it another try and hope it was just an off night for our waitress.

We come here regularly. It's a great place for locals and out-of-towners to get to easily and enjoy a getaway. Dining and entertainment lean toward the upscale side.
