Best Western Inn Of Jasper

The cold AC and having somewhere to sleep for the night were the bright spots. There was no ice available that night, and the fridge had frozen up instead of cooling. The shower pressure was terrible, and its faucet needed replacing. We also noticed what looked like a lock had been broken off the door, with little effort to fill the holes or repaint. This felt more like a Motel 6, and I thought the price was high for the quality. On my next family visit to Jasper, I chose a different hotel.

I was unsure about staying at a motel since I don't usually choose them, but it turned out better than I expected. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and being right in town made me feel safe. The woman working the second shift at the front desk, I assume, was really nice and helpful. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western inn Jasper, and the price was great for what we got. The location was spectacular. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with a pillowtop mattress and premium bedding that made for a good night's sleep. The microwave and refrigerator were handy, too. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, with plenty of tasty choices and more variety than typical hotel food. Staff at the front desk and in housekeeping were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, making the coastal getaway easy and pleasant. I'd happily book another trip and recommend the hotel.

We booked two rooms, and although they looked clean, both smelled odd and had roaches on the pillows and walls. We went straight to the office to explain and ask for refunds. When we asked the young woman at the front desk whether there had been roach complaints, she said yes and that management would normally spray the rooms. This was the worst Best Western I've visited, and it felt like a motel rather than a hotel. Don't stay here, even if they offer the rooms for free.
