The bathrooms were cramped, and without a separate shower area, water ended up covering the whole space and making it hard to use. We were also charged an extra cleaning fee, even though this wasn’t an Airbnb, and nobody explained at check-in that we’d be expected to clean the rooms. If I’d known, I would’ve booked somewhere else. I wouldn’t choose this place for a vacation.

We’ve stayed in a lot of cabins over the past few weeks, and these were easily the best. They were comfortable and really clean.

The cabin was cute and comfortable, but the owner shared her views about Indian and transgender people with my sister and me. That poor judgment was the one thing that kept an otherwise perfect stay from being enjoyable.

We had a great visit to Talkeetna, and the cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The one downside was the beds in Cabin 4. They were too soft and sagged like cheap memory foam.

These little cabins are a favorite for our getaways, and we like staying overnight whenever we’re looking for one. The beds are soft, the showers get hot, and it’s perfect for fishing Montana creek.
