The View Hotel

We were all happy with our stay. The bedding was great, the bathrooms were a good size, and the place was clean with incredible views. The continental breakfast worked well for us, and the price felt fair. The View and its service made our Monument Valley experience.

Seeing the valley at sunrise and sunset was amazing, and worth the price for us. Every floor has a great view, so next time we'd skip paying extra for the third floor. Our room was comfortable, with a small balcony looking out over the valley. Some staff were very friendly, while others weren't. The lobby's two-sided fireplace was lovely, though the furniture could be arranged better to make more of it.

The room itself was okay, though it felt more like a motel, and the scenery from it was incredible. Beyond that, the hotel was a letdown. The building looks cheap and ugly for such a beautiful setting, and I can't believe it was allowed to be built here. Service was awful, as if nobody wanted to work there. The restaurant served basic American food that was both cheap and expensive. Breakfast was disgusting and very basic, with everything served on plastic and paper plates. Seriously, who does that in 2026? America needs to stop this huge waste. It's expensive, and it feels like you're paying for the location alone. Profit, profit, profit.

The view really lives up to the hotel's name, and our room was nice with a comfortable bed. Food wasn't great, but it wasn't the worst either. There's plenty to do nearby, including the Goulding’s stuff, and Valley of the Gods is similar to Monument Valley and free. It's a really cool hotel, and I'd definitely stay at the view again someday.
