The bed was pretty comfortable, and the AC worked well. There was also a very cold fridge, a microwave, a desk and chair for eating or working, and laundry on site for $4 total per wash-and-dry load. Beyond those positives, this was one of the strangest motels I’ve stayed in. I was there over Memorial Day weekend, but it was nearly a ghost town. The room smelled bad, the TV didn’t work, the sink had no drain plug, and there seemed to be mold inside the bathroom light fixture. WiFi was slow, and the pool was closed with no sign saying when it would reopen.

I don’t usually write reviews, and I don’t like leaving bad ones, but this place was extremely uncaring. I booked a room for my soccer team a week ahead, then found out the next day that the tournament had been postponed. I tried to cancel right away and was told no. When I tried to reschedule, employees hung up on me. They said they couldn’t change the reservation, which was a lie, and kept hanging up. Now my organization and team are out $750. I don’t recommend staying here unless you book the same day, or you could lose your money and get no help from the rude, disrespectful customer service.

I only stayed because every place in Las Cruces was full, even after I called everywhere. I would have slept in my vehicle and showered at the truck stop if I’d known what it was like. There was no hot water, and the sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed or even washed. They had crumbs in the bed, brown stains, and old marks all over them. I would never stay here again. My advice is to sleep in your car at Walmart instead.

The motel is in a rather sketchy part of Las Cruces, and I didn’t feel safe during my stay. I caught a homeless man trying to get into my car. Every night, youths gathered on the second floor and played loud music late into the night. The pool was in complete disrepair, there was no breakfast, and the WiFi was extremely slow. As for the rooms, the first one I was given was covered with food and beer cans. The second was better but still pretty gross, with everything dirty, dusty, rusted, or water-stained. When I arrived, the front doors were locked, and I waited about 30 minutes for someone to show up.
