The hotel felt clean and quiet, and a lot had changed since we were last here seven years ago. Paul was great, friendly even while training someone new, and checked that we were happy with the room. He also discounted the price. We'll book with Big Chille Inn again and recommend it to friends and family.

The management is so helpful and accommodating. When the TV reception was fuzzy, they dealt with it right away, and the front desk staff are friendly and attentive to guests. I was impressed by how clean the place is. I'd recommend Big Chile Hotel and Suites for an overnight stay or a week.

I feel safe and comfortable here, and the staff seem to care about one another, the property, and the guests. Security is strong, with someone usually keeping an eye on the cameras. The rooms are clean and nice. My first room had a beautiful mountain view, but personal circumstances meant we had to move, and the second room was also great. There's a little fish pond and a clean pool, plus a laundry room and a kitchenette for longer stays. It's pet friendly, too. The big chili out front is something to see. The price and staff are great, and I've had a positive experience in this little community they've built.

The coy pond looks phenomenal with the improvements they've been making, and the team deserves credit for the work. Paul and Gary helped us get settled and answered our questions, and the other staff are friendly and attentive. Being homeless is hard enough, so it means a lot to feel welcome. Even with the picacho location, I feel safe here. Great team.

We booked through a third party, I think Priceline, and check-in was a headache. The clerk initially said there was no reservation, so I had to show proof before she found it. She blamed the site, saying it had the wrong hotel information and that they no longer had that kind of room. The pool looked nice from what we could see, and it sounds like some genuinely supportive people work here. But my family was so uncomfortable that we left for another motel. The room was extremely run down and dirty, with dead bugs on the floors and a large one on the counter. The nightstand looked like it hadn't been wiped in a long time, and the floors were sticky. The pillows were clean because they were wrapped in thick, crunchy, loud waterproof covers, but there wasn't much filling in them. The comforters didn't smell fresh, the sheets and towels were worn and had holes, and there was a cleaning product bottle in the shower. The mirrors were dirty and the TV picture was grainy and poor. It felt depressing and awful, like being in Azkaban. We did get our money back. The manager showed us another room that was somewhat cleaner, though it had many of the same problems. We nearly didn't get a refund because we'd been in the room for 20 minutes, which the manager seemed to take as a bad sign. It took us that long to decide whether to leave and whether there was another vacancy in town. Maybe they've had trouble with people seeking free accommodation for sex work, but 20 minutes seems quick even for that. We were a family with children, and it was plainly not that kind of situation. I saw mostly good reviews and thought this would work for us, but it seems more suited to people needing a short-term place while getting back on their feet. I wouldn't recommend it for families on vacation or people passing through for work.
