Hampton Inn & Suites Olympia Lacey

We stayed on New Year's Eve and had everything we needed at an affordable price. The location was great, with a huge Safeway right across the street. Our clean, comfortable room had a hot shower and a really nice TV, and we also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We’ll stay again if we’re in the area.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with lots of choices, and the serving area stayed clean and stocked. I especially liked the pomegranate, açaí, and blueberry flavored water. There was actual hot chocolate at the coffee bar, and the hotel toiletries were thick and lightly scented enough to use. They even offered free water bottles at check-in. Cleanliness matters more to me than anything, and this place passed my usual checks: behind the bathroom door, in the tub and shower, and in the hidden corners of the room. The staff were friendly, and there were sweet details around the hotel, like chalkboard drawings and inspirational sayings. The workout room was clean and well equipped, including a Peloton bike. The pool and hot tub area were clean too, with no hair floating on the water. The halls were bright and smelled neutral. For this price, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, nearly up there with pricier luxury places. I’d give the Hampton in Lacey-Olympia a 6 if I could!

Dean from the management team was especially helpful. We enjoyed our stay, with varied breakfast choices each day and a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

The room’s layout was great, with plenty of space and nice decor. It didn’t smell funny or feel dated. I keep wanting to love Hampton inns, and I’ve stayed in a lot of them, but those rock hard mattresses are always the same. The pillows and blankets are lovely, but I can’t sleep on something like concrete. In my opinion, Double tree mattresses are far better.
