Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Omaha Central

My husband and I stayed here for about three months with our pitbull, and we enjoyed it. The hotel is getting some much-needed upgrades, but the staff were so friendly, even with my dog, and made the stay really pleasant. Their manager Michelle was the best EVER and was always there if we needed anything. I definitely recommend this place :D

Parking was awful. There weren't enough spaces on the property, the stalls were tight, and vehicles often straddled two spots while we were there. We ended up parking at the far end of the property. The address listed is WRONG!! Searching the name on Google brings up mostly incorrect listings, and the M Street address takes you into the middle of an office park. The suite was okay, and the room was a little old but fine. Dogs barked a lot, as you'd expect at a pet-friendly hotel, but the front desk responded quickly when we called in the middle of the night to complain. Breakfast was good. We might consider staying again, though it wouldn't be in our top three choices.

The carpet was dirty, the breakfast food was horrible, and housekeeping didn't clean my room for two days. I told the daytime front desk staff, and all they said was they'd address it. They obviously didn't. Chris was wonderful, and the only reason I'm giving one star.

After spending several hours looking for somewhere to stay that weekend, we found this place, and it was perfect. The people were polite and very nice, and everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was quiet and not busy, tucked away enough that we didn't hear traffic. We couldn't be happier with our stay and definitely recommend it.
