I was looking for a hotel in oneana, but after reading the reviews, I'm going to drive farther to get the clean, decent room I paid for. The owners can say only positive things about their hotel, but the reviews all point to the same problem: YOUR HOTEL is dirty and needs attention. Reviews don't lie. Thanks to everyone who posted.

Last time I stayed, there were fluid stains on the bed and the dresser was falling apart. The fridge didn't work, and the microwave smoked a lot no matter what was inside. The floors were filthy, and there were needles left behind in the bathtub that he made us dispose of. Half the TVs don't work, and the beds are nasty. He also made my female companion really uncomfortable. I won't ever stay again, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you're completely out of options.

We barely slept and left early the next morning. After a full day of driving, we had to buy sheets and Clorox wipes and scrub the room because the bed linens and pillows were dirty and stained, with HAIR on them. The room smelled moldy, and there were boogers with hair stuck to them in the bathroom. We were there for a baby shower, but since it was Talladega weekend, we had to drive more than half an hour to this disgusting place. We were glad we'd brought our own pillows and blankets. When we went out, we took everything with us in case someone broke into the room.

I left early and drove thirty minutes to another hotel because I couldn't face staying another night. I only booked this place because no rooms were available elsewhere, and I regretted it. There was hair in the bed, tub, and sink, and I couldn't sleep for worrying about bed bugs or lice. I came home with something all over my face and neck from the pillow, maybe a chemical burn or an allergic reaction. The comforter, pillowcases, washcloth, and towels were stained. This place needs to be shut down.

There weren't even light bulbs in the lamps, and the front desk said they had no toilet paper when I asked after checking in. They told me to go buy some at a gas station. The room was dirty, the TV and air conditioner didn't work, and we found bedbugs along with urine-stained sheets, so we left. The owner or manager refused to refund me. The people running this place seem shady, and it feels unsafe. The city should shut this poor excuse for a motel down. Shame on you!
