Hampton Inn Oneonta

The hotel is being refurbished, but the staff did everything they could to make me comfortable. I left my medical med pack in the fridge and called them. They did an amazing job getting it back to me, packing it with cold packs and overnighting it to New Jersey. The whole staff deserves a 10 out of 10. Thanks again, Hampton Inn.

The breakfast was delicious, and they took care of every need. Everything was up to date, and both the pool and hot tub were working. I really enjoyed staying here while visiting from out of town.

I travel a lot for work and mainly need a clean room, basic amenities, and a fresh-smelling hotel. Both nights, starting around 7:30-8pm, the hallway smelled strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke. I told the staff, but it didn't get better. I was meant to stay here again in a month, but cancelled and booked another hotel.

The staff were wonderful, but the room was only okay and the bed felt a bit hard to me. The hotel badly needs refurbishment, with stained carpet throughout the halls, elevators, and public spaces. At check-in, the desk clerk said coffee and tea were available all day. After dinner I took decaf tea to the room, but the water wasn't hot enough to brew it. They need to replenish it regularly. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn selection, nothing exciting, and the coffee was terrible. The furniture in the breakfast area was odd: the chairs sat so low compared with the tables that the table hit my six-foot husband's chest, while for me at 4'11" it came up to my chin.
