SureStay Hotel by Best Western Ontario Airport

There isn't anything within walking distance, which worked as a moat to keep the kids from wandering off. I was chaperoning a school trip with more than 20 high school kids. The third-floor rooms were adequate, and although the pool was cold, the kids still enjoyed it. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Darryl, who always had a big smile and a wonderful manner. Nothing seemed to faze him.

I've stayed here twice on solo trips for a music festival, once in March and again for Halloween. Both visits were comfortable, easy, and convenient, with clean rooms and amazing service. The tall gentleman behind the counter in formal wear was there both times. He didn't help me this time because he had a line of people, but his customer service is great, and he's a real asset to the hotel. It's right off the interstate, which is convenient, though there aren't many nearby places with a drive-through. I have family in the area, so I'll most likely be back, and I'll definitely return next Halloween.

I've never had a worse hotel experience. The staff were rude and unwelcoming at check-in, which shocked me because hospitality should come first. My bathroom had a broken lamp, and water from a leak in the upstairs room was all over the floor. They refused to move me. When I raised the problem at the front desk, the young man said, "what do you expect? This isn't a Five Star hotel". A terrible stay.

I was in town for the nearby Convention, and the price and location were both great. Darrel at the front desk was terrific. He helped with everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible.
