Emerald Skye by Meyer Vacation Rentals

The balcony view was spectacular, and the beach was incredibly close, just a hop, skip, and jump to the waterline. We stayed in #63, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like home. It had everything we could have needed. I’d never rented a vacation place this way before and was amazed at how hassle-free it was. Not one complaint. My boyfriend almost had to drag me away, and on the drive back to Louisiana I was already planning next year’s vacation.

The balcony had a great view whenever work on the outside of the building wasn’t making a lot of noise. The condos are very old and need a major face-lift. The stair rails were dirty and need paint. The pool stayed closed during my 3-week February stay. Dumpsters were picked up between 4:30 and 5 am, and it was extremely loud. It woke me every time.

That night, the water sounds were so soothing I could fall asleep to them, and the view from #44 was fantastic. My family and I were very happy with the stay, and the beach was just a short walk away. We did have a brief problem with the door code, but a quick call got it sorted. A vacuum would help with the little bits of sand that remain after using the outdoor shower.

Loved the view, and the place was so clean!
