We chose this place for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with it. The staff were so sweet and welcoming. One newer employee said she’d only been working there for three days, but she had such a kind soul and made us feel special. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were lovely. If you want some quiet time together, I’d suggest going about an hour before the pool closes. Breakfast was so good, and the whole stay was even better than we expected. We’d absolutely come back.

The bar’s themed drinks were delicious, and there’s a lovely coffee shop next door that you can reach through the hotel without going outside. The place was spotless and smelled like Hawaiian tropics when we walked in. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they have amenities for pets. Hubbington, Potato, and I had an amazing time at the Indigo Hotel and would definitely stay again.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, quiet, clean, and dog friendly, with great beds and spectacular Gulf Shores views. We were in town for the Veterans Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Fairhope, and our stay at this Orange Beach Hotel Indigo property made the trip even better. It’s tucked among beach homes, near restaurants and coffee shops, especially Southern Grind Coffee House. The baked goods there are delicious, though if you’re watching carbs and sugar, maybe wait until after your trip. Flora-Bama Lounge is nearby too. Lesley welcomed us warmly as Platinum Rewards members and gave us an upgrade. We appreciated her thoughtful courtesy call while we were out, since we lost track of time. Rewards members should ask about late checkout when they arrive, if it’s available. The hotel is very accommodating. We’ll definitely return. Stay dates: November 14-15, 2025

We booked this place because it allowed pets and ended up pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with an amazing Gulf view. The staff were all great, especially Julie when we checked in and Mike, who helped us with dinner. We couldn’t make use of the pools or gym, but we did get coffee at the attached coffeehouse and visited the gift shop. Definitely recommend.

The bartender is my favorite, so fun, and she remembers our family whenever we come back. Short hair and glasses. She deserves all the kudos for her effort and service. The connected coffee shop is a great addition, and the staff, food, and service are all great. This is the best hotel beach stay in Orange Beach. If the bartender sees this, I’m still willing to cover a shift so you can get some shut eye.
