There were some good things: a great shower, a Keurig coffee maker, a washer and dryer, and a short distance to the Gulf’s white sand beaches. We also met some nice people. But we’d stayed here before in a different condo overlooking the River and loved that visit. This stay didn’t compare. The view was terrible, and the windows were so clouded that even a good view would have been hard to see. Large storage containers and a huge open dumpster were there the whole time, and young people at nearby new construction were noisy. That construction wasn’t there a few years ago. The carpet was dirty, there were added costs, and the sheets had a very strong perfumed smell. We washed them ourselves after the first night. The patio door screen was rusty and hard to open, and the bedroom screen was torn.
Unit 5B looks amazing inside, with tile floors, hand-carved custom furniture, and a bunk bed for the kids. The back porch is partly enclosed, a nice place to get some fresh Gulf air and look out at the water. The condos are across the street from the Gulf, with a beautiful view of the bay behind them. These are clean places, and I think you and your family would enjoy your time here.
The location, view, price, and layout are awesome, and the place is clean and beautiful inside and out. I’d come back. It would’ve been nice to have a BBQ pit like the other ones, instead of needing to buy one. There’s no dumpster for the trash, and the washing machine was overflowing. They gave us a small refund to make up for that.
We fell in love with this place when we first saw it, and we just closed on B7. This is our first weekend here as owners. Molokai is a small property, so only a few families share the beach area. It feels almost like your own private stretch. It’s a beach house, not a condo. You park underneath and walk right up the stairs to an awesome Gulf view. There’s shaded seating below for morning coffee and reading a favorite book. Inside, there’s a spacious living room with a lofted ceiling, three bedrooms, and two baths. Compared with three-bedroom, two-bath condos where you’re stacked on top of each other, with tight parking and busy beaches, this place is a one-of-a-kind find.
A peaceful spot for getting away from the high-rise complexes and enjoying some serenity. The complex is small, with 21 condos. On the riverside there’s a fishing pier, and on the beachfront side, the units are standalone, with parking underneath. The riverside condos are two units, one upstairs and one downstairs, and the top one has a loft.
