The place was okay and looked recently redone, with fresh paint. We didn't feel entirely safe, since most of the people hanging around outside looked a bit sketchy. At check-in they said they'd put a $50 deposit on my card, but when I checked later, only $48 had come back. That's just $2 for me, but if they do that to everyone, it adds up to quite a windfall.

The rooms and beds were clean, and there are plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. When I had a problem with the TV, they sent a maintenance guy over within minutes with a different one. He got it set up fast so I could watch Monday Night Football. Good place.

We were the only occupied room at first, then guests were put right next door at night, with a shared door. They smoked all night, and we could smell it the whole time, while their dog barked as we tried to sleep. Our heater was right by the bed and unbearably loud. Two of us were sweating and couldn't hear each other, while the other two were cold and also couldn't hear anything over it. The front desk was rude for no reason. There were cigarette burns and stains on the sheets, and stains on the towels and shower curtain. The table was burnt, the TV remote was broken, and the bathroom sink leaked so badly that washing your hands meant washing your feet too. Don't go, sleeping in your car would be better.

We had to make a stressful last minute trip to Deltona, and bringing our English Bulldog, Peach, made finding a hotel harder. After looking through dozens of pet-friendly options, we chose Blue Spring Inn, and it turned out amazing. The friendly staff and incredible, spotless room made a big impression. It was huge, and the whole property looked freshly refurbished and clean. Pet-friendly places aren't always this nice, but this one blew us away. We slept like babies on a mattress so comfortable that we took a photo of its tag so we could buy one for home, LOL. We honestly wanted to stay a whole week. The pool looked gorgeous, though as Floridians we don't swim in October. I wish I'd taken room photos when we arrived instead of as we were leaving, so you could see how beautiful it looked at first. Thanks to the Staff and Owners of the Blue Springs Inn from the Zack Family. You made an emergency trip feel like a relaxing vacation. We live only a couple of hours away and will come back to stay here again, for longer next time.

The room was nice and very clean, and the bed was amazing. Housekeeping did a great job, but didn't push their service too much.
