Palmetto Inn & Suites

I’ve been here about a month, and every day feels like home. Palmetto inn & suites has my utmost respect for the service and Southern hospitality from the owner and crew. The hotel is bug-free, which is a plus, and the workers are all very friendly and offer help when needed. They’re doing a great job remodeling. The beds are warm and cozy. My husband and I have a lot of love for the place, and I give the owner raj my utmost respect for making us feel right at home. Please give them a visit, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Inside, the stay was pleasant and comfortable for the price, and I’d return now that I know how clean and comfortable it was. The rooms were huge, with clean carpets and a brand new 65 inch TV, plus a new microwave and refrigerator. A hidden surprise.

I’d rather be safe, so they can keep my money. I booked a room online for three days, arrived at 10:30 pm, and it wasn’t ready. The front office was disgusting, with clutter everywhere. When we drove around and got out of the car, people were running everywhere. A man in a car asked me to take something up to someone. No thank you. They won’t refund me.

Raj, the owner, was determined to make sure I enjoyed my stay. My dog Ryder and I were there for three days, and he helped us find our way around a town we were new to. I’m a vet, and we had some interesting conversations. It was the first time I’d talked with and gotten to know the owner of a hotel I stayed in. I had a great experience, and if I’m in Orangeburg again, I know where I’ll stay.
