Towneplace Suites By Marriott Tampa East/I-4

After a crazy travel day, I was trying to stay positive when I arrived. Alex greeted me with a huge smile and such warm, welcoming hospitality. My room was incredibly clean and spacious, and the location was five minutes from the Event event venue. From arrival to departure, the experience was amazing. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and a big shoutout to Alex, she’s a rockstar!

Linda, the General Manager, personally got in touch the next morning after a problem with my reservation on arrival, and she went above and beyond to fix things. For the rest of my stay, the whole staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is good customer service, and this team handled it exceptionally well. Thanks to Linda and everyone for the hospitality.

The room layout worked well for two people and a couple suitcases, and having a refrigerator and kitchenette area was a plus. We had a first-floor king room. It was fairly clean and comfortable, though there was still some residue from uncleanliness. The bathroom had nice upgrades, and the shower had good hot water. The place has a clean atmosphere, with a small breakfast each morning and a small market up front. It’s right off the highway, there was always someone covering the front desk, and parking was free.

Nov 13 2025 about 9pm, I walked in and got a lovely welcome from the front desk associate. I wish I’d gotten his name. He was pleasant and great with customer care, and we had a nice conversation while he checked me in quickly. I was here for a work/cruise trip as a travel agent, and I’ll definitely recommend this hotel. The room was pretty, very clean, and quiet. The AC made an odd noise, but luckily it didn’t keep me from sleeping, and with the fan on you could hardly hear the street. Breakfast ended too early for me, since I can’t eat for a couple hours after waking. I went down just before breakdown, but there was nothing left I could eat gluten free except burnt sausage. I don’t eat oatmeal unless I know it’s free from gluten cross contamination, so I skipped breakfast and can’t say if the food was good. The associate was trying hard to find me something and helped me find water. She was lovely and doing a great job cleaning up. That didn’t sour my stay. The front desk clerk at checkout was super friendly, and when I had to go back to my room for something I’d forgotten, they helped quickly so I could get my things and leave.
