Courtyard by Marriott Orlando East/UCF Area

I came to spend time with my hubby while he was here for training, and I needed a chance to rest. The staff were welcoming, and our room was clean and quiet. We had two meals there, both tasty and well prepared. If we're back, we'd be happy to stay again, and maybe try the pool next time. ☺️

Don't assume loyalty to Marriott will get you good service here. These folks could care less. I'm responsible for choosing Marriott for over 10k$ per month in central fl, and I'm tired of spending that much and getting poor service. Local operator, feel free to call me directly. We're going somewhere else.

The hotel was perfectly placed for a show at the Financial Arena, and it felt fresh and clean. Our room was exceptional. But the service could've been more friendly and accommodating, and I heard other guests say the same. A lot of people got back around 9:30 pm, while the bar was advertised as open until 10:00 pm. A big group of us waited in line, then someone finally helped us, begrudgingly, after saying the person assigned there had left early for a personal issue. With the hotel pretty full for the show, they could've adjusted staffing and given guests a better evening while keeping people there buying drinks. We did get drinks to take to the patio, but not without irritation. At checkout I put my key on the counter and was told to leave it in a basket. That's the first time a Marriott clerk hasn't just taken my key. It sounds petty, and it felt petty. As a Marriott Rewards member who travels constantly for work, I think this stay could've been better with more care in guest interactions.

Clean rooms and a pleasant stay, with friendly, helpful staff. I liked the firepit area and the seating in the front lobby for hanging out.
