Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown

The valet, front desk team, and bartender all made us feel welcome. The valet was prompt and courteous, check-in was smooth, and the bartender helped create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Will, Aiden, Veronica, Gabriel, Angela, William, Juaad, and Alex were warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. Every interaction felt personal, and it’s clear they care about their work and their guests. The whole staff delivered consistently thoughtful hospitality, and our stay at Home2 Downtown Orlando was wonderful from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks to the entire Home2 team for making it special.

It’s day 5, and nobody has come to clean my room even though I requested service in person at the front desk. I was given one roll of toilet paper at check-in, and today I ran out. When I called the desk to ask for more, the line was busy. I went down and was told someone would bring up a couple of rolls right away. More than an hour later, no one had arrived, so I had to take a handful from a bathroom in the common area to avoid using a towel. Now I’m back in the lobby asking for toilet paper for the second time, and have already waited 20 minutes for the guy to return. I’ve asked again for cleaning tomorrow. We’ll see if they show up. Not great.

The location is handy for downtown events. We walked to the Kia Center in about 15-20 minutes, and there’s a Starbucks attached to the hotel next door. The room was very clean and good quality, and the front desk staff were sweet and helpful. I have no complaints about the room or staff. Parking was ridiculous. Valet is required and costs about $40, but the online booking page only says it’s available and doesn’t say it’s mandatory or excluded from the room price. You only find out on arrival. If you don’t want to pay, the valet suggests metered parking on a very busy street with about 4 spots nearby, or a garage across the street for $20. The included “complimentary breakfast” was pathetic. I’ve stayed at hotels from Hilton’s to Econolodge’s, and this was a sad-looking egg patty like McDonald’s, a waffle maker where you have to make your own waffles, an obviously frozen boxed chicken patty, and low-quality bagels. I wasn’t expecting Gordon Ramsey quality for free, but more variety or better food would have helped. I’ve had better complimentary breakfasts at Best Western and even the eco lodge. I’d like to see them improve the parking setup and breakfast.

Will and Aiden made valet easy and stress-free. They greeted me with real smiles, handled my vehicle carefully, and stayed efficient and courteous from the moment I arrived. Even when things were busy, they were organized, quick, and attentive to detail. Their positive attitude stood out, and it’s clear they take pride in their work and care about the customer experience. They represent excellent service well, and I’d trust them with my vehicle again. Highly recommend.
