Quality Inn & Suites Orlando East - UCF Area

The beds were comfortable, but the floors were so filthy that my toddlers’ feet and ours turned black within minutes of walking on them barefoot. I wiped a patch with a wet rag and took it to the front desk. The younger night clerk seemed neither concerned nor apologetic. I asked housekeeping to clean the room the next morning, and the very nice maintenance man said we were on a waiting list. Even if the floor looks clean, I’d check it yourself. There’s a major construction site right beside the hotel, where they’re building another hotel. If you’re a light sleeper or care about getting sleep, pick somewhere else. The phone and alarm clock didn’t work, though that wasn’t a big deal. Don’t move the microwave, either: the counter and table are one huge piece, so you can’t reach the plug to reconnect it. The same clerk tried, couldn’t, and left the microwave on the floor. Maintenance came later, but my S/O was asleep after working all night, so we declined and put it on the bathroom counter. Breakfast was bad coffee, bagels, English muffins, packaged danishes, cereal, waffles, and other things. I attached a video for reference.

I was in town for work and stayed one night. There were six or seven roaches, adults and babies, and I had to kill a lot of them. I kept all my bags and shoes in the car. The bathtub hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guest, with dirt and hair still in it. The iron looked pretty much like drug paraphernalia. I’ve usually had good experiences with Quality Inn, but this Orlando/Disney location is one I won’t return to.

My wife and I are Choice Privileges members and stay at Quality Inn regularly. This was our worst visit. We arrived 12/26/2026 and got room 313. The bathroom tub’s finish was peeling and slippery, the paint job looked sloppy, the vanity mirror was cracked, the floor had buckled and broken tiles, and the tub faucet and spout felt loose, like they might come off the wall. Two days later, after we came back from sightseeing, water had leaked through the ceiling above the vanity and soaked all our belongings. We were moved to room 314, where we found cockroaches on the bedside nightstand and tripped circuit breakers. The next day the facility was out of many breakfast items, and breakfast wasn’t impressive even when available. When we went to do laundry, we were told the machine wasn’t working. Very disappointing.

The bed was comfortable, the shades made the room really dark, and the AC worked great. Still, the room smelled bad, the floor was dirty, and there was mold inside the shower. The safety latch on the inside of the door was broken off, the ice machine was out of order, and breakfast choices were very limited. I’ve stayed here a few times before, but I won’t come back.
