Sonesta Essential Orlando Airport

Even though our flight was delayed, the check-in went smoothly when my boyfriend and I arrived. I’d called ahead to say we might miss check-in time, and they said that was okay. The lobby was pretty bare and didn’t look very nice, but the room was comfortable and great. We were there only a couple of hours, but the service and the whole experience were really good.

It’s a convenient spot near the airport, and the place was pretty quiet. The lobby was clean and the pool nice, while the rooms were okay. We stayed four days and housekeeping never came to change the sheets or towels, restock, or take the trash. We had to go to the front desk for toilet paper and fresh trash bags.

I had a full-day layover from Orlando Airport and found the booking easy. The hotel was very clean and I was extremely comfortable during my stay. The staff stood out most: everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from check-in through check-out. The next morning, I could make tea and start the day feeling relaxed, and the customer service was outstanding again. I highly recommend it for a clean, comfortable stay and especially for travel or a layover.

The hotel was comfortable, with a large clean room just a few minutes from the airport. Kayla, Shayla, and Emil at reception were excellent, and room service was very good. Breakfast was pretty good too, and Yolanda gave excellent service. The other employee had a bad attitude, though. When I asked her to warm water for tea, she refused and told me, “do it by yourself.” My wife and I enjoyed our stay overall.
