Spark by Hilton Orlando Universal Blvd

We saved quite a bit by using the hotel's transportation to Disney EPCOT and Universal Studios. There was a parking lot too. We enjoyed breakfast during our stay, especially the sweet bagels. During the day they had hot water, coffee, and decaf coffee with Instagram.

The room would be better with at least a microwave, and breakfast is about as cheap as it gets, just a bagel bar. The worst part was the after-hours front desk. The two girls with red hair, one black and one white, ignore customers, and I've seen them go to the bathroom to text. Tricities is great, and so is her mom, but the other two made this a very unprofessional experience for a paying guest.

This is my go-to place in Orlando. I'm here for work at least once a month, and after a friend and travel agent introduced me to it, I haven't stayed anywhere else for two years. The location is great, minutes from attractions, malls, and restaurants, and about 12 minutes by car from downtown. There's a large parking lot and extra parking across the street. I usually book the king suite for the room and privacy. The rooms are nice, and while I'm not usually up for breakfast, I see plenty of people enjoying it. The staff are friendly from arrival to departure. Jacqueline and Tricity always take good care of me, with warm greetings at the desk and text messages checking that I'm all right and asking if I need anything. It's family friendly too. It feels like they put very little money into renovating a 40-year-old hotel. There isn't a coffee maker or microwave in the room, and breakfast is all carbs, with bagels, muffins, toast, and cereal, no protein at all. The front desk woman had her tongue pierced sideways, which made her hard to understand, and I wondered if it was chipping her teeth. I'm also still waiting for my $50 deposit back.
