The staff were responsive and friendly, and made check-in through checkout feel easy. The lodge was clean, spacious, and very well kept, with comfortable, well-equipped rooms that felt like a home away from home. Its location was convenient for Orlando attractions, restaurants, and shopping, while still being quiet and relaxing. The amenities and overall atmosphere added a lot to the trip. Great for theme parks or a quieter getaway. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone coming to Orlando.

The quiet made a big difference at night, and I slept well after long days out in the city. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the location made it easy to reach popular Orlando attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment I checked in, which kept the process smooth and stress-free. For the price, the accommodations and service were impressive, and the stay exceeded my expectations. I’d stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place in Orlando.

There’s security at the entrance, which is good. Still, the rooms smell old, and I noticed roaches. It’s not a terrible place to stay.

I’ve stayed at Vacation Lodge twice, and both visits had good points. The manager at the desk was a very nice gentleman, and the housekeeping staff were kind too. I left my computer and other things in the room while I went out, and nothing was disturbed. I was never disrespected, and I’d stay again. My first visit felt scary because the whole hotel wasn’t open and there was no security, with people coming and going. By my second stay, the hotel and restaurant had opened, and security was doing rounds. The place isn’t great now, but it’s cheap. I also heard it’s first come, first served, so you need to arrive when people are checking out to get a room. Some evening and night desk staff can be rude. One gentleman who worked there really needed to learn some manners. I’ve seen bad reviews from others, but my two stays were good experiences.

Once my home was finally finished, I got out of there quickly. I’d only stayed while a contractor worked on it, and the location on OBT (Orange Blossom Trail) was convenient and close to home. The service wasn’t up to par. The owners and their children were rude and nasty. They charged guests extra fees, and visitors had to pay $20 per person. The rooms were ridiculously expensive for what they were: shabby, old, and musty, with bugs in some rooms that I had to spray for. There was a pool, but I wouldn’t have gone in it.
