Hampton Inn Daytona/Ormond Beach

After two stays in different rooms, I’ve decided the beds just aren’t for me. They’re the firmest mattresses I’ve ever slept on, so if you like an extra-firm bed, this may suit you. I’m a diamond member, and otherwise everything was fine: the staff were friendly and the location is great. I don’t usually write reviews, but wanted to give people a heads-up about the beds.

I had to stay unexpectedly because my mother was in a nearby hospital, and Kiara Hines at the front desk was my saving grace. When I needed to extend the stay, she went above and beyond to make it work. She was professional and attentive, and helped me when I needed it most. She showed what customer service should be, meeting a guest’s needs. I’ll always be grateful.

I started working in Ormand a few weeks ago, so I stay at this Hampton Inn for weeks at a time. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is always fresh, and the service is a 10/10. Everyone on staff is helpful. Kierra took me under her wing when I first arrived, makes sure my reservation is booked, and always looks after me during my stay. Her vibe brightens the lobby and makes it feel like a home away from home. 💛

The front desk was great and answered all my questions. There’s coffee and complimentary breakfast, and Cracker Barrel and a gas station are within walking distance. My only complaint is to beware of the management next door at McDonald's.
