Ocean Crest Motel

The beach here was quiet, and it didn't feel crowded. At night, with less light coming from huge buildings, we could see so many stars on a clear evening. There's a dedicated path to the beach, and the view is calming. It feels comfortable and homey to sit outside the room and watch the sun come up. The new managers are updating the rooms. We stayed in one that had been updated and one that hadn't, and both were clean and well cared for. No sign of the bugs mentioned in an older review. John and Lisa are great. For the price and location, it's a good choice.

The owner was very nice, and we enjoyed the beautiful spot on Ormond Beach. It's an older motel that hasn't been updated, but our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was a good deal for the money. We had a fridge and microwave, but there was no coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo, or similar items, so bring your own. Some rooms have kitchenettes.

We've stayed here every June for several years, and my wife and I really like this Mom and Pop Motel. The rooms aren't new, so it won't suit someone looking for that, but they're clean and the view is great. Gordon, the owner, is a great guy who goes out of his way to make your stay a good one.

The rooms are huge and have everything you could need. This motel has always felt like staying with family. My husband loved it more than anywhere else, and our family spent years vacationing here. He passed away last year before he could visit again. Now I plan to return with my grown children.
