Birch Forest Lodge

The forest setting gave the resort a quiet, tucked-away feel, and Orr was only a short drive away when we needed something. We stayed three nights in a cabin right on the water and had a wonderful time. There was plenty to do, and the place felt very welcoming for families. Adam knew the lake well and gave us helpful pointers on where the fish were biting. He was nearby and ready to lend a hand whenever we needed it, including while we rented two boats. One was brand new, and both were in great shape. The dock made getting on and off easy. Our kids could wade and play safely because the swimming area stayed shallow a long way out. There were lots of clean kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes to use, plus a beautiful, well-kept play structure right by the lake. A relaxing family getaway, and we'd happily recommend it.

The cabin was just right, and the resort is clearly well cared for. The owners were genuinely kind and helpful. We spent our long weekend kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and checking out local attractions. We'd definitely come back!

We had a great time fishing, and the dock was in great shape. There was plenty to keep all ages busy, including kayaks, paddle boards, bean bags, a giant cheese board, and boat rentals. We rented a pontoon and brought our own boat too. The owners stopped for a chat a few times while we were out, which was nice, and everyone was helpful. The cabin was amazing. We'd recommend the place and plan to return.

We shared a visit here with our son's family, and it was exactly the peaceful, beautiful break we needed. We chose a room in the lodge because it was affordable and suited us perfectly. Hope we can come back.
