The owner was very nice and made us feel welcome, and the property was clean and inviting throughout. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool, two hot tubs, shaded outdoor tables, and breakfast is included. It’s a quiet area. This place has been better than 99% of the chain hotels I’ve stayed in lately, so it’ll be my go-to when I’m around here. I’ll definitely book again.

We usually stay with family nearby, but that wasn’t possible this time. Local hotel reviews pointed us to The Lake House Hotel, and we’re glad we chose it. Mary Jo & Ricky and the rest of the staff were attentive, professional, and courteous. Mary Jo & Ricky were always working to keep guests happy and the property clean, attractive, and well maintained. Breakfast had plenty of options each morning, including one of those old-fashioned commercial milk dispensers common in the 60s. I’d highly recommend a stay here. Families with kids from 4 to 14 should find plenty to keep them engaged and happy. The photos show the care and attention the owners put into keeping The Lake House Hotel a top place to stay.

The beds were too hard for me with my back and body issues, but I really love this hotel. It’s super clean, the breakfast is good, and the pools are spotless. Great amenities, plus hot water and good pressure.

The owners were incredibly hospitable, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Our spacious king room had a comfortable mattress, and I wish I could give the place six stars. It’s a handy base for sightseeing, restaurants, and golf around Lake of the Ozarks. If we pass through the area again, we’ll definitely stay here.

The kids had a great time at the pool and water slide, and the beds were extra comfy 💜. The front desk staff were super sweet, and breakfast was good too.
