Waterfront Lazy Days Condo w/ Views & Pool Access!

This is our third year owning a condo at lazy days condominiums, and we appreciate everything the HOA takes care of. It’s a relief to see clearly where the money goes. For us, this is by far the best place to stay at Lake of the Ozarks if you want beautiful views, clean water, a peaceful no-wake Cove, security that actually patrols the parking lot, enforced rules, and quiet after 10 PM. If you’re after a crowded place with lots of partying and noise, you won’t like it here.

The HOA keeps raising prices without improving the property, and it charges us for things we haven’t approved. They enter our unit without permission for trivial reasons and crank up the heat, which sends our energy bill soaring. There’s nowhere to take the dog out, either. They buy the cheapest insurance while charging residents the most. We’re not even allowed to use the fireplace, with a $5,000 fine if we do. It’s ridiculous. We’re going to sell and move to get away from this out-of-control HOA.

We stayed for a fishing tournament over the weekend and came in third. The place was clean and nice, though there were a lot of steps.

It used to be a beautiful place to stay. Huge corporations have taken it over, and now the lake has turned into a giant toilet. What a shame.
