We made cherished memories here and really want to return. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, and helped make everything easy and enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities, and evenings by the fire were cozy. We stayed in the scenic resort cabins over both Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. The cabins sit amid beautiful natural scenery and have a comfortable, rustic feel. We woke to stunning views each morning, and the peaceful setting gave us a much-needed break from everyday life. Highly recommend this place for unwinding in nature.

The owners are really nice and helpful, the view is beautiful, and they’re dog friendly. We stayed two weeks and had a good time!

It was a nice, thoughtful touch for the host to leave us a little packet of zesty sauce in the room. We didn’t use it, but it felt welcoming and considerate to have it there as an amenity during our stay.

The bathroom felt unsafe, with a hole in the ceiling right above the toilet. There was also a hole in the window, patched with a paper towel and a Band-Aid. Our motel room in Oscoda was far below what we expected. The bed had no fitted sheet, and there were visible stains on the mattress underneath, which made us question how well rooms are cleaned between guests. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with a deep dip in the middle. This place could have potential with care and updates, but in its current state I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
