Our hosts were accommodating and shared a list of local events happening each day. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. We could gather for breakfast and then use the big table by the kitchen to play games in the evening. The location worked well for our 33rd annual women’s trip, with lots of stores and events within walking distance. We were happy we stayed at the Braywood Inn.

The rooms have a lovely historic design and feel beautiful and cozy. The owner and staff were wonderful communicators and answered all my awkward questions. Breakfast is a simple self-serve continental spread, with a great tea selection that I made the most of. I’d definitely recommend booking here if you’re in the Oshkosh area.

There are art galleries within walking distance and plenty of places with live music nearby. The weather was pretty awful during my trip, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise since I could settle in and relax. I also got to chat with the staff, especially Eliana, who was welcoming and lovely. The continental breakfast was wonderful, and there’s a large kitchen fridge stocked with snacks, plus plenty in the rooms’ snack baskets. I highly recommend the Braywood and would happily return.

My husband planned the weekend this time, and I was pleasantly surprised by his choice. Every corner of the house has such warm character that it makes you want to relax. After our walk downtown, the Rishi teas and range of coffees were just right for warming up.

We came for a nearby conference and plan to return next year. The property had a great atmosphere, was very clean, and the staff were fantastic. Having full use of the kitchen was a big plus. My only regret is that my wife and I forgot to ask for business cards to promote Braywood Inn.
