Breakfast was awesome, and the employees were cheerful and courteous. They also offer adequate Jeep rentals, which is handy since a trip to Ouray doesn’t feel complete without Jeeping. We stayed in Alpenglo condo 8. It was a nice place, though a few things could use attention: the patio door wouldn’t close, the TV was temperamental, and the upstairs steps felt awkward for an adult. The two hot tubs and pool were nice, but a little dirty, probably because they’re mineral spring fed. Thanks for a good trip!

The hot tub was only lukewarm, apparently because some guests think it gets too hot. Aside from that, it was a nice little retreat and a good base for seeing the area. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the rooms were nice and clean. Some people leaving reviews here seem to expect a Ritz-Carlton or just like to complain. Maybe I’m too lower class to be happy with this Best Western.

We LOVE Twin Peaks. The eight-hour drive was worth it!
