The views were amazing, and we could walk to shops and restaurants. My partner and I had a lovely Valentine’s weekend here. It was cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub and making tea or coffee each morning. Breakfast was delicious every day, and we liked chatting with the host and hearing their recommendations for the area. We’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re nearby!

We’ve stayed at Black Bear Manor twice now and are already looking forward to another visit. Laura was a delight, welcoming us when we arrived and chatting with us over breakfast. The quiche was scrumptious. There’s also a great selection of tea and hot cocoa, plus books, games, and a hot tub. We love it :)

We were welcomed with smiles, warm cookies, and wine, and everything about the stay was explained clearly. The room was cozy and beautiful, with a lovely mountain view. Outside was well lit, and there’s a hot tub too. Breakfast was warm and so good, cheers to the chef 🙂. This will be my place to stay when I visit Ouray!

We came to Black Bear Manor on a whim, and now it’s the only place we’ll stay in Ouray. The service was amazing. At breakfast, the owner overheard my partner say he’d forgotten floss, went out to buy some, and brought it to our room without being asked. Breakfast was amazing too. The rooms are beautifully decorated, quiet, and comfortable, and the location is hard to beat. You can walk to Box Canyon and everything else nearby, so there’s no need to use the car. Please check it out, but book well ahead: people are discovering the place, and we’d hate for you to miss it.

The rooms were quaint, and Connor was kind and helpful, always ready to do what he could to make us comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was that our room had no closet or hangers. If family hadn’t had space to hang our formal clothes, it would have been a big problem.
