The Clipper Inn Bed & Breakfast

The best part of the Clipper is how warmly Kristin and her staff welcome people. It's clear that Kristen loves what she does and opens her home to her guests. Every detail felt carefully considered, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. We actually switched here after running into so many problems at a well-reviewed hotel, and I'm so glad we did. The rooms are cozy, nicely decorated, and have comfortable beds and what guests need. There are spaces for groups or smaller gatherings indoors and out, plus breakfast prepared each morning. The setting is picturesque: you can watch climbers, including ice climbers, on the mountain face across from the B&B. The warm atmosphere carries throughout the property. We'll be back, and this is the only lodging I'll look for on future trips to Ouray. You won't regret staying here.

Kristen gave me some great ideas for things to do around town, and breakfast was delicious every morning. The hospitality throughout my stay at the Clipper Inn was wonderful. I'm looking forward to coming back.

The pancakes at breakfast were some of the best I've ever had, and the hot tub was a lovely way to unwind after a long day. My boyfriend and I stayed for our anniversary and felt right at home. The room and shared spaces were beautiful, immaculate, and homey. It's only a block from Main Street. We loved the stay and will definitely return. Thanks for making it so pleasant! ☺️
