I’ve been back many times and have enjoyed my stays, apart from one night when metal clanging overhead kept us up. They were kind about refunding that stay, and we came back afterward. The rooms are cute and clean, the rates feel fair, and I like the simple in-room speaker for turning music on and off. It’s nice to have that instead of relying on a smartphone. I also usually enjoy the hot tub, though it was closed on my most recent visit because of Covid. I’d rate it five stars if not for that noisy stay, and I’d recommend the place.

We spent four nights at Ouray Chalet Inn and would happily stay there again on a return to Ouray. The setting is lovely, and we liked sitting on the bench just outside our door. The beds were comfortable, and having two good chairs in the room was a plus. Each morning there was grab-and-go breakfast with microwaveable oatmeal, breakfast cookies, and Tropicana OJ. Staff at both the front desk and housekeeping were friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great stay.

The location right in the center of town made this a great choice, and the staff were especially friendly and patient. We stayed over the weekend for the first time. The rooms are simple, but very clean and cared for, with freshly painted walls and updated bathrooms. I also liked that every room has its own outdoor seating spot for taking in those fantastic views. This will be our regular stop in Ouray.

We could walk from our room to dinner in about five minutes, since the hotel is right in the heart of Ouray. Check-in and checkout were both easy, and our room was clean and really comfortable for a relaxing night. I’d recommend staying here.

We parked when we arrived and didn’t need the car again, since everything we needed was an easy walk away. The room was quiet and clean, and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Staff greeted us so warmly, and there were fresh cookies waiting when we got there. The location worked perfectly for our stay.
