San Juan Chalet

We were grateful for our stay in Ouray and won’t forget the experience. “The Cabin” was clean, check-in was easy, and it was just right for our family of three. We could walk to almost everything we wanted to do. We made breakfast each morning, then came back to crash after days of hiking and swimming. Such a perfect little place in paradise!

We loved staying at San Juan Chalet. It felt like a home away from home, with everything we needed, a clean and cozy space, and a stunning view from the porch. The setting was quiet and scenic, yet only a short walk from downtown Ouray. I’d absolutely recommend San Juan Chalet to anyone visiting the area.

We often visit Ouray and really enjoyed a few days in the cabin. We usually book a hotel room, so the extra space and amenities were a welcome change, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location is great for walking around town, including to the ice park. Our on-site host was friendly and happy to answer questions. When we were running late after squeezing in some climbing on checkout morning, they kindly gave us extra time, which we really appreciated. We’d definitely stay here again.

The cabin kept us warm and comfortable for all seven nights, and we really liked being able to cook a meal now and then. We used the Weber grill too, and ate outside at the picnic table. The king bed was comfy, and having Hulu on the TV was a nice bonus. The host was so welcoming, the town was easy to explore on foot, and nights were quiet. There was plenty of room to park our large truck. We'd happily stay again, thanks so much!
