Edge Hotel

We were in town for a work event and stayed at the Washington Heights Edge Hotel. The first visit was short, but our second stay coincided with a winter blizzard. Everyone at The Edge pulled together to make sure we had what we needed and keep things running smoothly. The staff were always friendly and helpful, whether we needed directions, restaurant suggestions, or just a smile at any hour. I’d definitely recommend the property.

The location worked perfectly for visiting Columbia University. I could walk to the university, coffee, breakfast, and dinner, all within a few minutes. I also liked the fragrance of the toiletries and wished lotion had been included. I arrived from Boston on Amtrak and checked in at 12:30 am. The staff were still warm and welcoming. The room was very clean, but two bath towels and one hand towel had clumps of hair on them, apparently from the same person. I then found that same hair inside the blow dryer.

My coworkers and I regularly stay at the Edge Hotel NYC for work, and each visit has been a great experience. The front desk team is so welcoming and kind, and they always remember us by name. Thanks to Dominic and everyone else for making our stays feel personal and warm. The rooms are consistently spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, with nothing to complain about. It’s also a perfect spot for Columbia Medical Center, just a short walk away. Highly recommend the Edge Hotel!

There are plenty of food places and shops close by, and the 1 train is a block away. The rooms were clean and more spacious than the ones I’ve had in lower Manhattan, while costing a lot less. The staff were extremely friendly too. Taking everything into account, this is by far my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at in NYC. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town.
