Sheraton Bucks County Langhorne

Nice-looking hotel, friendly staff, and a great spot if you're visiting Sesame Place park. There are tons of restaurants nearby, too. When I stayed last weekend, though, neither the pool nor the Jacuzzi was heated, so both were cold. Hopefully they fix that soon. One odd thing, there isn't an ice machine on any floor, but you can get complimentary bags of ice from the Lobby freezer. Nice hotel overall.

The security guy on duty was no help at all. He walked ahead of me, got into the elevator and let it close before I could follow, then went up to the clubhouse without me. He didn't offer to help with my bags, either. The front desk lady was training a male worker when I arrived around 5am. She seemed to go out of her way to act uppity and aloof, which felt unnecessary. The male trainee was more polite and cordial. The bridal "getting ready room" was the club lounge, but it had no bathrooms, not even on the same floor, no mirrors, nowhere to hang anything, and nowhere to change privately. Just a weird, subpar experience for such a well-known hotel. Maybe the daytime workers are more pleasant and attentive to customer service.

The check-in setup was difficult, with limited parking out front and staff who didn't want us to pull up. There's another parking lot around back, but it felt sketchy and you need a key to get in. The rooms looked worn, and the bedding was stained, so we had to ask for a new comforter. TV reception was terrible, and the only extras in the room were two bottles of water. There were several sports teams staying there, but I wouldn't call it kid-friendly.

The lobby looks really nice and the staff are friendly. Our room's closet needs fixing because the handle was broken. In the bathroom, water from the shower kept spraying well outside the curtain. The beds were the bigger issue, though. They only have doubles, not queens, which made it really uncomfortable to sleep two to a bed.
