There was no coffee in the lobby or free coffee at breakfast, and breakfast was pricey. We bought tickets at check-in, then found breakfast burritos cost $11. Cracker Barrel is an easy walk and would be a better option. Bugs were the biggest problem: live and dead ladybugs and stink bugs covered lampshades, the ceiling, windowsill, headboard, and our clothes, with more flying around than I could count. A friendly staff member offered to move us, but we were told the exterminator sprays regularly and it doesn't help with those bugs, so a new room wouldn't solve it. At least there were no roaches. Not recommended.

We were in town for a family birthday, and the location made it easy to get to shopping and places to eat. The hotel itself was nice, with friendly staff and a fairly clean room. I found some hair in the shower, but that was the only cleanliness issue. We didn't have time to try the pool or exercise room. I was a little disappointed that the bar wasn't open around 3 p.m. on Saturday, since I thought it would be open by then. I'd return.

The front desk and food service staff were really kind and helpful, and the whole place felt welcoming and well run. I had a king bed and sofa, so it was easy to relax after seeing Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations at the Oxford Performing Arts Center. The room was clean and modern, and the hotel was convenient to gas, food, and restaurants. I appreciated the full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted in the shower, plus the extra towels, hand towels, and makeup remover cloth. There was also an indoor pool, a lovely outdoor seating area, charging built into the high-top chairs, and chilled water in the lobby. It was a peaceful, comfortable stay, and I'd definitely come back. Five stars for Courtyard Marriott – Anniston/Oxford, AL.

The rooms were fine, though the freeway right beside the hotel made them a bit noisy. The bar area was small and kept running out of alcohol.

It's right off the interstate, with lots of good places to eat nearby. The staff were friendly, and the rooms, while dated, were clean and comfortable.
