Hyatt Place National Harbor

Everyone was so nice, from check-in to the bar, and the bar itself was pleasant. The room was clean and nice, and the location worked really well for what we came to do. It’s close to everything and just a short walk from the parking garage. I’d stay again. The only reason I’m giving four stars is the thin walls. A dog a few doors away barked for about half an hour in the middle of the night and woke me up. Otherwise, a great stay.

My daughter and I came for a birthday staycation this past weekend, and we had such a peaceful, enjoyable time that neither of us wanted to leave. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Ms. Frances and Ms. Kendra were especially kind, thoughtful, and professional, and made us feel welcome. We’d love to come back soon!

The hotel itself is pretty nice, but the room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be, throwing off the evening plans for several people. Once we finally got it, the fridge wouldn’t work. We had to troubleshoot it and found bad wiring at the back, which we adjusted. That should have been sorted out already. There are only two elevators for the hotel, and the line was huge. After they came and went three times without us getting on, we gave up and carried our bags up the stairs. At the price we paid, basic things like room readiness, working appliances, and enough elevator capacity should be taken care of.

We found the hotel easy to reach and very convenient for restaurants and shopping. The rooms and facilities were clean, the service throughout was great, and the price was reasonable. Bar Harbor restaurant and bar was excellent, and Karson the bartender really knows his stuff. Highly recommend staying here.
