Hart's Camp

We keep coming back, even though we moved to Wisconsin this past year and now travel 2,200 miles to get here. This is our favorite place on Earth. The campground is always clean, the staff are friendly, and we love spending time here with family and friends. The beach, restaurants, and shops are an easy walk away. Don’t miss it!

We’ve stayed there for years, but our 5th wheel started acting up and we had to cancel. We called four days before the visit and weren’t given our deposit back. That felt like poor customer service. Thanks for the partial refund, though, it’s much appreciated. Looking forward to coming next time.

The beach and restaurants are close, and there are nice amenities for kids, but the campground felt run-down and dirty for what we paid. Our gravel site was tucked in a corner by rental trailers, and one was so close we could only use one side of the picnic table. We couldn’t pick our site, either. In the nearest women’s bathroom, one toilet was so cramped against the wall and paper dispenser that you had to sit sideways; the other wouldn’t flush properly. The floor and door were dirty, and cigarette butts were scattered outside. A campground down the road is in better shape and costs a lot less. We booked this for our anniversary, and I’ll think hard before staying again.

We spent a long weekend with my family at an RV site. They’re on the small side, but otherwise great. Rabbits wander around everywhere, and you can feed them by hand. The location is fantastic, with a short walk to the beach, store, and brewery. Hart's Camp also has put-put golf, an indoor pool, a gym, and corn hole. I’d stay here again.
