We enjoyed two nights, Monday to Wednesday, for just under $600 including breakfast and parking. Booking through Booking.com two months ahead got us a good rate, and check-in with the third-party reservation was easy. We had a second-floor room by the elevator, with a balcony facing away from the beach. The pool was a highlight: long enough for distance swimming, with a walk-in entry, a 4’6” deepest point, a shallow kids’ area around 1’ deep, and a waterfall and slide for little ones. It wasn’t too crowded in the early afternoon or late evening. There are two hot tubs, one noticeably hotter than the other, which was nice when clouds made the pool feel cold. Beach access was open 24/7, and the beach was clean with little to no seaweed, great for sunrise watching. The room was fine, though the lamps weren’t very bright and the bathroom could use a dimmer. Water pressure could have been better too, if I’m being picky. Some front desk staff seemed happy to help, but the breakfast and restaurant staff came across as dismissive and inattentive. They scolded us for not knowing where to sit, even though they hadn’t explained the seating when taking our information. Booking early makes sense for better options at a worthwhile price. Outside the hotel restaurant and places attached to nearby hotels, there aren’t many food choices, and not many activities seemed worth the cost. Breakfast was included for us and decent, though inconsistent, maybe a 6/10 if I’m being harsh. I wouldn’t pay extra for it. Parking also costs money, and when I asked about it through Booking.com, they didn’t mention the price until we arrived. If you book later, rates rise and choices narrow, which can make the value worse. For what we paid, our stay and the quality met our expectations.
